Osmosis, to us means, “learning effortlessly”. Since 2011, we have been a guiding hand for children navigating life’s ups and downs, with a special focus on working on the strengths and leaving out the weaknesses.
Osmosis isn’t just a centre; it’s a safe, accepting space where children can explore their talents, discover their strengths, and overcome challenges with the right care and guidance. Our mission is to bridge the gap between a child’s current learning abilities and the demands of the school curriculum.
We do this by understanding each child’s unique needs, identifying their strengths and areas of focus, and creating a structured, personalized roadmap to help them thrive. This collaborative approach involves working closely with parents and teachers, ensuring that every child has the support they need to succeed. We regularly assess their progress, celebrate their achievements, and adapt our teaching strategies to suit their evolving needs and interests.
Our therapies: Remedial Education, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy are tailored for a 1:1 ratio, ensuring personalized attention for each child. Our team of carefully selected and continuously trained therapists share our passion and dedication, making a world of difference in the lives of the children we serve.
Formally registered as a Public Trust in 2011 (Registration No.: E/7504/Vadodara), Osmosis has been committed to helping children overcome hurdles and achieve what once felt beyond reach.
Mrs. Monaz Kathawala is the heart and soul of Osmosis, bringing over 25 years of expertise in social work and special education. Her journey began in 1999. After obtaining a degree in Social Work & Special Education, Ms. Monaz continued an ongoing practical training with Dr. Dilip Kurani. This exposure gave her the confidence to work on her on in Thane. She developed contacts with multidisciplinary team in Thane. Her dedication has since earned her the support of leading schools in Ankleshwar, Bharuch, and Vadodara.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan and a B.Ed. in Special Education from SNDT University, Mumbai, Monaz has combined her academic credentials with a deep commitment to nurturing children.
She now oversees two thriving Osmosis centres in Bharuch and Vadodara, ensuring every child who steps into Osmosis feels supported, valued, and capable.
